Drawn to the Opera House

The Campaign for Drawing is a national event taking place annually in October.

It aims to encourage everyone to draw.

The artist’s group WavyBlue ran

Drawn to the Opera House

a free Big Draw event  on

Thursday October 9th  2008

at the Boscombe Opera House

Some free materials were provided.

The Campaign for Drawing is inspired by the Victorian artist and writer John Ruskin.

His mission was not to teach how to draw, but how to see.

This historic building will generously be made available by the owner  John Butterworth.
